Café Taruchi was born out of the idea of offering desi snacks and desi beverages in stark contrast to the mushrooming cafes with Burger, Noodles & all things Videshi. We thought, why not offer a desi variant with a variety of desi snacks from all over India. So, we have a carefully selected list of snacks from North India and South India along with Chai and filter coffee. Sounds interesting?
Café Taruchi is a part of YANAVI ETHNIC FOODS LLP, a venture started with the idea of introducing the best of Indian cuisine through multiple focused brands. The first brands under this initiative are:
Both these brands – Annavaram Veg Kitchen & Ayodhya Desi Rasoi started off as cloud kitchens and now we are slowly spreading our wings and establishing outlets in food courts across Bangalore. We will be expanding to more locations and introducing more varieties of food from across India. And Only India.
Café Taruchi was an accidently creation. With more and more people asking for a space for Dine-In or quick takeaways. We chanced upon a small, cozy Tea Shop right next to our cloud kitchen and we quickly grabbed that space to make it into an experience center for our offerings from Annavaram & Ayodhya along with the feel of a café. It can at best seat 12 people at any point in time but the response from our customers has been super encouraging. To spread our wings wider, we have now started the online version for people to order pocket friendly food and snacks with a quick delivery.
All future outlets of Café Taruchi will be larger in format and accommodate more customers in a relaxed ambience. After all, good food needs a relaxed environment. And we want to give that experience to our customers. Until then you can also order our food online and enjoy it in the comfort of your homes.
Our Coastal Andhra cuisine (Annavaram Veg Kitchen) includes an eclectic range of dishes that people from Andhra would instantly connect with. Punugulu, Mysore Bonda, Pesarattu, Gutti Vankaya, Mirchi Bajji, Gongura Pachadi, Pelala Vadiyalu. If you are from Andhra, you would surely know most of these dishes.
Our North Indian cuisine (Ayodhya Desi Rasoi) includes an equally mouth-watering range of dishes like Besan Chilla, Bedmi Puri, Poha, Stuffed Paratha, Samosa, Kachori, Matthi, Chaat, Pakoda, Khichdi, Rajma Chawal, Kadhi Chawal, Vada Pav, Pav Bhaji, Gulab Jamoon, Chilled Kheer. Lassi, Chaach and so on.
The combined offering from our North and South Kitchens is what we call Café Taruchi. So you get the best of both parts of India. Under one roof. So the next time, you want to try a mix of South Indian and North Indian cuisine together or want hot samosas when it rains, you know exactly where to order it from. Rest assured you won’t be disappointed.
So welcome to Café Taruchi. Do drop by at our cost café for a hot & fresh filter coffee at 5.30 am or order your favorite dish online from breakfast to dinner. It’s a fusion of two specialty cuisines.
We are totally desi and totally vegetarian.
Sharing some love from your customers. Nothing makes it better then a few words of appreciation. You can add yours views & opinion too
